ARTIST INFO
Claire Le Day grew up in Edinburgh before moving to Devon in 2003. My memoir, The Diary of a Teenage Dirtbag, reflects her turbulent adolescence filled with heartbreak, alcohol, and mean girls. It’s a real ‘nostalgia-fest’ for millennials, she feels both incredibly proud and completely horrified by it.
While attempting to paint the cover of her second book, Fear & Loathing in Plymouth, she rediscovered her love of painting. The book continues to gather dust (metaphorically) as the search for a literary agent, but in the meantime, she is giving the artist’s life a go, and rather well she is too.
